God, that sounds like a fear based, quasi political, anti cult book.

* How Green pressure campaigns threaten the safety of your home and your car, and public health overall
* Why the election of President Obama portends a giant leap forward for coercive Green policies
* Why Greens obstruct the use of all forms of energy--even the renewable sources they tout to the public
* How wealthy Green elites stand to profit fabulously from the restrictions and regulations they seek to impose on the rest of us
* How Green pressure campaigns are hamstringing the military and endangering our national security
* Why big business is not only knuckling under to the Greens, but is aggressively promoting the green agenda to the detriment of its own stockholders
* What you can do to help stop the great Green machine

Fear mongering rarely is the truth, it's why they rely on extreme examples, with "us" or against "us" and strong emotions for points and not discussion.

------Fear mongering rarely is the truth"-

I agree

That is why I pay little attention to what Al Gore says. He admitted he exaggerated but stated it was necessary to jolt ( aka fear mongering) the people into action.

In addition to a National Civilian Community Corps, Corporation for National and Community Service, etc. HR 1388 GIVE also creates a Clean Energy Corps (of volunteers).

The bill has passed the House and is now going to the Senate.
It's worth reading over the bill. It is interesting.
GovTrack: H.R. 1388: Text of Legislation, Placed on Calendar Senate

H.R. 1388: Generations Invigorating Volunteerism and Education Act’ or the ‘GIVE Act’.

I don't understand this line of reasoning. Don't we all breathe air, drink water, eat crops of fruits, vegetables, grains and some of us eat cows, lambs, pig, fish and chickens?

Why are some people labeled environmentalists and some not? Aren't we ALL environmentalists--sharing the same environment?? ...it's what we live on, this small, fragile planet.

Who wants poisoned air, earth, rivers, streams, oceans and ground water? Or crops and animals poisoned with hormones, antibiotics and pesticides..?

If it doesn't bother you, personally, then what about the children?

How can anyone not be an environmentalist??? It's beyond politics. It doesn't make one a liberal or a conservative, on the right or on the left, it simply makes one an earthling.
