I just recently relocated to W-S, and thought that perhaps one of you may be able to suggest a great dentist, auto mechanic, & vet for me to look into?

Thank you so much for your time with this - it always helps to have great advice on these things - enjoy your week!

Wilkerson Jr. Is near Forsyth Hosp. Has had me & the family as a clients for years. Son and daughter love him. They are 20 & 16. They love him. Accuwench in Clemmons is pretty good. For genral stuff & tires Mock tire on Peterscreek is good. Both are fair with pricing. Which side of W-S. There are others. As for vets. Not sure.

Depends on what side of W/S you are looking for-lots of choices.

We live in Davidson Co. but use a vet in Forsyth Co (CLemmons)-about a 20 minutes drive because we are very happy with them. (Animal Ark)

Thank you all for the suggestions that you've given - I live in the NW section of W-S, off of Robinhood Road, but honestly, if the service/prices/friendliness are there at any of the businesses, I don't mind driving a little bit.........I have an 11 yr old Volvo, so that can be tricky in finding someone who will work on them, but I love her, and she still is under 100K miles, so she's got quite a bit of life left in her!

Can you go to Greensboro for car repair? Swedish Autoworks...Jay Johnson...273-0256. We've had 4 Volvos in 20 years. He's been our mechanic since Day 1

Sure, I don't mind driving to Greensboro for car issues or a gr8 dentist! A vet that far away in the car, at least for emergency issues, may be a little tough, but for typical stuff, that's not a problem either, though my cats may think so - ha!

Thank you so much - this really all helps me out!

For auto stuff I really like Motorworks - they only work on non-domestic cars (though they do take care of domestics in the same household LOL), the people are great, they provide loaner cars, and their prices aren't bad.

We just started going to Dr. Timothy Brown for dental care and both my husband and I really like him and his staff.

For regular vet care I take my pets to Dr. DeVore in Greensboro. She has a holistic one vet practice with office hours at Greensboro Vet Hospital on High Point Rd. and is totally worth the drive. Plus, most vets in the area don't handle emergencies on weekends/nights so I just make sure I know how to get to the specialty clinic (Carolina Vet Specialists in W-S or Gboro) in case of emergency.
