My husband may get an offer from a company in High Point. We are Asian Canadian living in Ontario with our two sons, one is medium autistic. My question is can my autistic son, who is 7, in grade 1, go to public school and get support from one on one EA? He can understand English but speaks little, and he is a "runner" (that's why he gets an EA). North Carolina looks like a perfect fit for us because of the weather, the living costs, and a lot of high-tech jobs for my husband. My son loves school and stats to communicate with his classmates. Hope he will get the proper attention in North Carolina. Is there anyone who has the same experience, moving from Canada with special-needs child?
