So I noticed today they had a bunch of workers at the old bi lo in simpsonville. I asked the lady in the dollar store if she knew what they were opening and she seems too think it is going to be a Big lots. Anyone else know if that is true??

A broker with Windsor Aughtry told me the same thing a while back. Commercial money is hard to come by right now so I guess it is took longer than expected to do the deal.

I'd prefer to see an Ollie's Bargain Outlet come to the Upstate. They're a much improved Big Lots on steroids.

Looks like the farthest Ollie's has gone is NC, but sure would be cool to have something new since there is a Big Lot's already in Mauldin.
