pebble creek area (Wade Hampton, Taylors, Simpsonville: buying a house, neighborhood, buying)

Anybody here live in the Pebble Creek area? I looked at buying a house up there my first job out of college in 2000 but it was difficult to get a feel for what it is like living there. i like it b/c it is more woodsy than the Simpsonville area but it is also somewhat isolated and closer to some of the "uglier" areas like wade Hampton and the horrible traffic on north pleasantburg. i hate that intersection near the red lobster and the cherrydale one as well.

Pebble Creek is a nice area. It is away from the commercialization of Taylors and Wade Hampton areas. It is close to recreative activities like golf (Pebble Creek Country Club) and outdoors (Paris Mountain State Park). Most neighborhood retail is concentrated around Stallings and Rutherford Road including a busy Ingle's.
