Desperate need for rental housing in Greenville/Travelers Rest (Furman: rentals, credit score)

I am going to be moving back to the Greenville area in two weeks unexpectedly and am frantic to find a rental house. I have five dogs, working/therapy dogs and have excellent references to vouch for their behavior and my cleanliness. I am a teacher and use several of the dogs in my work. My problem is in finding an owner who will take a chance on renting to me, although I have a perfect track record/credit score. I would love a fenced yard, and mostly hardwoods, but I'm desperate enough to consider other things, too. If anyone can offer assistance I would be overjoyed and eternally grateful. My rent limit is $1,000...I'm a teacher . Thank you so much.

if you have I apologize. But with an up to $1000 budget, I think you should be able to find what you are looking for

I saw a rental in TR last weekend. Not sure of the price, though. It was in the Sunny Slopes sub-division and would most likely be 3 bedrooms on around 1/4 of an acre. I expect to be going back to TR this weekend, so if you're interested, I could see if it's still there and get a phone number. There's also some stuff around Furman for rent on Craigslist that says dogs are okay.
