the most updated plan doesn't show anything planned there, however if I had to guess, probably the retail that was supposed to go behind cheddars

Yep. Six small retail spaces within it. Don't know of tenants yet.

They need to get some good, unique tennants for this to set the tone for the rest of the development. If this ends up being the usual Great Clips, Sub shop, strip mall kinda stuff then I have lost all hope for this development being anything special.

I would rather have the good, unique tenants go downtown or Haywood Mall instead.

I would not mind another Firehouse Subs, but anything along the lines of a massage spa, pay day advance/check cashing/title loan, nail salon, etc. is a step in the wrong direction, especially if it is Magnolina Park.
