We found a Ryan Homes development we love in Boiling Springs, Spartanburg. Any opinions on this area? Environment, beauty, convenience, safety, etc.

One of our main concerns is resale value on homes in this area. We've heard people say the area is "growing." We are considering building in the Glen Lake Development. Thanks in advance for sharing your thoughts.

I used to work in Spartanburg and I knew some engineers who lived in boiling springs. I would say it is the fastest growing area in Spartanburg or was until the economy dipped in 08.

I rode through there and I got the impression it could be a little "redneck" kind of like Easley due to the affordability of the starter homes there.

Boiling Springs is undergoing a growth stage specifically along SC-9, Rainbow Lake Road, Parris Bridge Road and Old Furnace Road. SC-9 is undergoing widening to 4 lanes from Rainbow Lake Road up past SC-292 before Lake Bowen, great for boating and fishing. Nice area.
