This is great news - I live about 2 miles from this proposed development - I'd love to see some upscale retail on Laurens - I hate driving to Woodruff. The new 2nd and Charles/Skyzone have really improved the aesthetics on Laurens.

Default SRT connection

Good news. Anyone know how it would connect the SRT to CU-ICAR without using Parkins Mill Rd?

I noticed Marketplace Drive will be realigned to intersect with Henderson Road and extended behind Verdae Village to intersect with Verdae Boulevard and Bonaventure Circle. There would be no crossover across the railroad and Laurel Creek accessing Legacy Park. Is anyone concerned this creates connectivity issues?

As for retail, what would you like to see? I think Laurens Road and Verdae can easily support another supermarket along the lines of Publix and Ingle's.

It will probably connect via the old railroad bed to the SRT at Cleveland park.

Still not seeing how it would cross Laurens. Wish someone would do a mock up trail map.

This is good news. Laurens road can handle traffic. I remember when they did all the widening then shortly afterwards everyone left.
