Anyone have any idea what's going on with this building? Its been sitting vacant for years and the wear and tear of mother nature is really starting to show. Would be nice to see something move in there.

How long was Riptide in business? Seemed like it was only a year or so. Greenville doesn't seem to have a lot of people in their 20's for a place like that to do good.

It does look rough. That road has a hard sustaining businesses outside of SportsClub and a few others.

Not surprised nothing is in that building. The visibility from Congaree Road is terrible.

I moved to Greenville in 1999, and I know it was open until at least 2003. I used to go there all the time back in the day when they had DJ Nudie. When I first started going, it was packed on Friday & Saturday nights, then the crowds started dying down. Then the crowds started getting a little more shady, so I think they tried switching to be a country bar shortly before they closed for good.

The Sports Club seems to do okay back there. I would think the old Gametime building would be a good place for the Sports Club to expand if they could get it for a good price.

I think their membreship for that gym is dwindling with the new Five Forks one which is much nicer and the Simpsonvlle location too. I can't see them expanding unless it is to add new tennis courts.
