Brandi,
I moved to Simpsonville last Spring, so I don't know that I can answer the question that well. I will say that while we lived there Planter's Row was a good neighborhood. It was saught after to buy a home. But in today's market I am not sure. Also, depends if it's with a realtor or by owner. If it's with a realtor, priced right, and marketed well, I would think the specific location would not matter as much. As with any home on the market, the house has to be matched with the perfect buyer. Some may enjoy and seek the more seclusion further off the main road while others may choose to be closer to the front entrace. Bottom line is the house, imo. Liz

Average days on market for resale homes in Planters Row was 93 in 2008. That is compared to 83 days in 2007.

I sold an 8 year old home on Seagrass Court last February, and it was under contract in 34 days. I completely agree with Liz that a home must be priced right, and properly marketed.

There are many preschool programs in Mauldin. Mauldin First Baptist, Grace Covenant Presbyterian, Mauldin United Methodist, Messiah Lutheran and Mauldin Montessori are all worth checking out. I would suggest calling them now, as the classes tend to fill up.
