I just went to see Greater Tuna by the Mill Town Players at the Pelzer Performing Art Theater today. This is the 2nd show I've seen there in the last year. By the way, both were great, but todays performance of Greater Tuna was fantastically funny. Being that I live in Greer, this is quite a distance to travel, but for $10 it was so well worth it.

What other area community theaters do quality shows, that are reasonably priced around this same price level, and have a theater season? I'd like to see more plays like the Mill Town Players have done. A small venue, reasonably priced seats and great acting. Can anyone make some suggestions?

BTW, 3 friends saw it advertised last year as part of this years lineup. We waited almost a whole year for this show. Great show and very well done to those 2 gentleman who played a multitude of roles. You deserved the standing ovation you got. Bravo!

No, I have nothing to do with this theater, or anyone who works there. Just a comment about what I saw today, along with my question.

Thanks in advance.

The Younts Center for the Performing Arts in Fountain Inn is home to FIRE Theater Co. and FIREside Radio. The shows for the 2016-2017 season are posted on the Center's website.

Thanks, will check their website out.

Took my parents and BF back to see the last showing of Greater Tuna today - it was even better the second time! Would love to see them do a Tuna Christmas one year.
