Trying to get a sense of the going rate for a weekly lawn mow with edging. Our property is 1/4 acre and the lawn is Bermuda grass.

Also, for anyone who has an annual lawn contract, how many mows per year do they schedule? I know it varies by season, but sometimes I felt like my current vendor comes too frequently.

I use Naturescape. Works out well for me. I put them on a two week schedule and in some cases more frequent if the grass gets higher (spring) or more rain. I also cancel some weeks if the grass has not grown. They seem to be pretty flexible.

Smaller lot ~110x80, $36 per mow. They edge as well.

I have a local fellow - $35 per mow, I do Bermuda once a week during the growing season though it could be more depending on rain. My yard is .4 acre but only about .25 is in grass. They edge (and I have beds all around the house they edge as well as the driveway).

I also have a local guy that charges $35 per mow (mow, edge, leaf blow) .20 acre lot. No annual contract, they text me every week during the season to see if I want a cut or not. Husband and wife team (Mr. & Mrs. Lawn Care). We've been happy with their work.

That's who I use!

One thing I like is that many put you on a schedule rain or shine and they don't like to cut wet grass (thank you!) and adjust schedules accordingly.
