Smoky Dreams has far and away the best BBQ around for my money, although they don't have cornbread or corn pudding.

That's an oxymoron right there. Corn bread can either be sweet or delicious but not both......

I do not know of a restaurant where you can get everything that you want under the same roof.

That said, corn pudding is very easy to make. This recipe is similar to mine, without the nutmeg (I don't use a recipe - just dump it together):

Martha White's Sweet Yellow Cornbread mix is good and easy. Just follow the directions on the packet - you just add egg and milk.

Make those things ahead of time and go to Smoky Dreams and get some takeout BBQ. It is the best I have had in the area. The beef brisket is great, too.

Bucky's BBQ is also good for bbq but additionally they have smoked chicken (half or quarter) and their sweet potato crunch is as good as anyone's.

edit: oh and the only cornbread you will find at bbq places in this area is hushpuppies.

I agree with the Smokin Pig in Clemson is my go-to BBQ. Their sweet potato souffle is delishes, but most delish is their brisket!

I had some corn pudding somewhere, but heck if I can remember where. Maybe home made. it's the darn age

If you hit Smokin Pig check hours and days open, it's just a few days at the end of the week that it's open. Banana pudding is something I've never had there before. Follow up with getting Clemson made ice cream, or hit the new place I found, Sweet Spot, right down from Clemson. Then a waterfall hike to make you feel better of all that good stuff you ate!

Default Smokey Dreams!! Woodruff Road.

We have been repeating customers at Smokey Dreams. They have by far the best "Meaty" Baby Back Ribs around. I have been to Buckys and Henrys and they do not compare to this establishment. Vinegar based slaw and a delicious sweet potato casserole, can compliment you meal. Yumm! Oh, don't forget the Baked Beans with pieces of Pulled Pork! Delicious! They are located on Woodruff Road, near the intersection of Route 14. The McDonalds is near for a landmark location. This is not an advertisement, JMHO.
