Hampton Point is a retail center located at the northeast corner of Wade Hampton Boulevard and tappan Drive in the Taylors community in Greenville County, South Carolina.

Hampton Point was previously anchored by a supermarket, BI-LO #5289, 3039 Wade Hampton Boulevard, Taylors, South Carolina 29687-2777. BI-LO #5289 opened as store 289 around 1991 or 1992. It expanded into the former Revco in 1999 adding a pharmacy. BI-LO #5289 closed in 2014.

Bids for the conversion of the former BI-LO #5289 into a Habitat for Humanity ReStore are due Monday, 8 May 2017.

Habitat for Humanity of Greenville ReStore is projected to open by the end of 2017. It will relocate from its present location at 5201 Wade Hampton Boulevard, Taylors, South Carolina 29687-5635.

Renovation is currently underway. BI-LO #5289's red awning and facade has been painted blue.

They still need to do something with the old Ruby Tuesday in front of the Walmart. Looks like some other restaurant would open there.

This still puzzles me. You would think something would've opened there by now. I'd like to see a healthy option instead of the same old burger and fry joint. Maybe like Crisper's. https://www.crispers.com/

I was at Habitat earlier this week. They are predicting the end of November. Originally, it was supposed to open in June this year. They said the permits held them up because it takes so long for someone to come out for an inspection.
