Sheri,
Since you are a realtor, do most developments allow parking the boat "out of sight" in a side yard or something or would do most have convents restricting that?
I would assume they can't stop you from putting it in your garage though since that isn't affecting anyone.

Most subdivisions do require that it be in a garage. It is neighborhood specific. This is something that is found out easily by looking at the restrictions of the neighborhood. PLEASE don't let this stop you from buying a home that you love!
