Anyone having any trouble with the rain? I know it said we are under tornado watch until 7pm tonight. I have seen a bunch of accidents. But no flooding here in Simpsonville at least not near me that I have seen.
eeek tornado warning all around here in simpsonville warning here until 4:16 hope I don't get blown away. They said Maybe a tornado has hit down in Clemson lots of trees and powerlines down.
Yup, that's right Chris! Watching WYFF now. It got dark here in Mauldin and we brought the mattress out to what we believe to be our "safe spot". We may have more coming later tonight. Enjoying watching the rain.
Two tornadoes have touched down in Clemson and two have touched in Greenville. My mom and I were at Ashley furniture on Woodruff Road and an employee informed us that a tornado was heading towards the Shops at Greenridge. We left quickly and came home...so far so good. It started getting lighter out when we left there and it's slowed down a lot now, but there could be more to come.
I live over in Mauldin of W. Butler and it was kind of getting scary there because our back porch and also the area next to our walkway was starting to get quite filled up! One of the drain sewers across from our townhouse seems to be a little backed up. Right now at 5:26 PM it has let up so hope that is enough time for the water to go down the drains out here!
Well other then a lot of wind and rain we did not get any damage here. But like the others said on here more is on the way. Anderson county has the most power loss. But they always seem to get the most of the storms any ways. The storms are ok too watch in the day time i'm just not looking foward too the ones coming at night! Hope everyone stays safe!
LOTS of rain here in Greer but haven't seen a lot of wind or downed power lines. We need the rain, but it's what comes WITH the rain that's often a little scary. It never seems to nicely sprinkle for long periods. It's like a monsoon for short spurts. Somewhere in between would be great.
Went down too Falls park and took the pics about a half hour ago tonight.
