(If you are one --- ya can't recommend yourself!!!

We are soon to be empty nesters -- (in a few years), and took a SouthEast roadtrip in the fall. Greenville area was our favorite, we like the idea being near the mountains and only 3.5 hours from the coast. Downtown was great and the people and the weather were warm and sunny!'

Anyways -- we are coming down in March to do a more indepth look at the area, and would like to talk to a realtor about purchasing some property.

If you have any first hand knowledge and could enthusiastically recommend a laid back (not pushy), patient realtor -- I would be grateful.

Hey all
Just wanted to thank everyone for your PM's with realtor suggestions. I ended up using one of the recommened realtors and everything worked out just fine. Drop me a PM if anyone needs his name.

We bought a single family next to a golf course, and will close in a couple of weeks. We will be using it as a family vacation home, or perhaps rent it out eventually, prior to us moving down their in a couple of years.

Just from the amount of building, and people expressing interest in upstate -- I just really felt it was now the time to lock in on real estate, especially when the pendulum is favoring the buyers. (although it looks like things are picking up already!) We are really looking forward to escaping the Northeast, goodbye snow,mud,overcast for days on end --- hello to warmth,sunshine, and golf!!!
