Actually, most celebrities (the ones you think are cool) are looking for publicity.

What do you have to say about the world-renowned celebrity Gary Player? He decided to design a signature golf course for Greenville, he decided to relocate his global business HQ here, and he ultimately decided to build a new home and relocate his own family (including himself) to Greenville County. Anyone who ignores this known and verifiable fact is not very brilliant, in my opinion.

I clicked the link posted for the Einstein House but it's coming up as invalid. Can somebody post the address or another link? My 9yr old is all about Einstein right now and I would love to take him to go see the house.
Thanks!

Albert Einstein? I don't know of any connections between him and Greenville. Sorry

His son lived in Greenville during the 1940s and another relative lived in Greenville while studying at Furman University. Albert often visited his son in Greenville.

Jack Roper is a local celebrity from Channel 7, and he is also famous for riding around in that bathtub.

This. It's in his biography (yes, I'm a nerd. And my daughter was born on his birthday, too. ) Hans Albert (Albert's son) actually worked as a researcher in Clemson in 1938, as well. Sadly, I can't find any mention of the house's location on the Interwebz.

The house is located in or near the Earle Street Historic District. I don't know the exact address.

The band Nile is from and lives in Greenville still. I see Karl around every once in awhile. Not huge "celebrities" because of their style but they have been around for like 20 years, headline some of the world's biggest music festivals, and have charted several times with their albums.
