I hear you about the lot sizes.....we had a very nice 1/2 acre in FL on a cul-de-sac and the way it was situated it was actually like having and acre....now we are on .23 and I'm feeling like I'm in a Townhome....love thy neighbor from a distance....Nothing can ruin a day by running upstairs to "find" the phone only to realize it was YOUR NEIGHBORS!!!!....anyway I think you would like Anderson county....email me and I'll give you the website of a realtor that really has a great way to view houses....In Greenville everything is broken down by "areas"...the Anderson County part that I'm talking about is I think if memory serves me 54 & 53?...it is between 85 and Pickens county just below the Greenville border. Like I said you can get MUCH larger lots. Don't know about the older homes there we were mostly looking for new so as to get an idea. Do remember a 7 acre house on the hill that was GORGEOUS and PEACEFUL...but we couldn't find it winding through the roads....if we did we probably would have bought it...ok I'm rambling still wishing we had moved then
