St. Louis Hamburgers finally put up some real signage along Haywood Road a few weeks ago that complied with city ordinance and was actually pretty nice looking with brick around it. Here's the kicker though. That sign is now completely GONE but the restaurant is still open. What the..???
Maybe a car hit the sign and knocked it completely down. That's my hope at least for their sake.
Spinx now under construction along Wade Hampton Blvd. across from QT in Greer.
The site next to the old Arby's at I-85 and Highway 290 in Duncan has sold. This is right near the Chick-Fil-A under construction. Anybody know what is planned? QT perhaps?
Wish I didn't have to travel all the way to Ohio or Michigan to find a Big Boy restaurant. They were once quite popular in the South when they were part of Shoney's a number of years ago. Now Bob's Big Boy and Frisch's still remain, also in California. Bring them back here. Also, Popeyes Chicken and Roy Rogers would be nice.

I don't know about that site.
There's also a Spinx under construction in Simpsonville near I-185 & 385 (fairly close to the other Spinx on Standing Springs Rd). Another Spinx on SC-28 Bypass in Anderson opened a week ago.

We've know about this for some time. Originally, a QT station was reported to be built there...then I guess QT backed out and Spinx snapped the land up. Looks like they are making good progress.
Anyone have any idea about a new little store on Locust Hill, next to the Flour Haven? It's attached to the Bargain Center, I think that's what it's called (rugs, lamps and small furniture place)? I whizzed by there today and saw it out of the corner of my eye, looked like it said something like an old tyme country store? It's right on Locust, one site over from St. Marks?
