the article is talking about the first Old Chicago Pizza as part of this new aggressive expansion in SC. MB will be the first of 4 new ones.
Have you been to the one in Columbia and if so , how did you like it?
I think that the one in Columbia has been here for 2 years or so; however, I have not been to it. I have heard mixed reviews on it. I am not sure what to make of that, but it does not make me want to rush to eat there. I actually have not eaten any pizza since I moved to SC. I am used to eating pizza in old family owned Italian restaurants, where pizzas are called pies. If I can find one of those, then I will be happy!
Any idea what is being built just behind the Boondocks? Looks like it could also be a restaurant.
(Apologies to the Greenville elites for the Anderson Co. question )
I did not notice this. I will find out, one of my friends lives near there.
The Boondocks was probably not the best name for an Anderson restaurant if they want to entice Gville elites to come over. But it is getting good reviews so far.
This may have been posted already, but I saw a sign on the old Travinia Italian Kitchen on Woodruff that something is coming soon. I couldn't read it from the road but it looked like it started with a t.

It's Tenji. Banner says all you can eat Japanese. Hopefully it lasts longer than Angelos.
The Greenville News and Upstate Business Journal both say June, although it sounds like an exact opening date hasn't been decided yet. Walking by, it looks like there's a lot of work left to do.
