Probably would have to be P.F. Chang's! It's not my favorite Chinese restaurant, but overall, my wife and I love to go there the best!
Ditto. It's hard to pick an absolute favorite, but P.F. Chang's would definitely be on the list. Last time I went was this past Saturday and once again, it didn't fail to please. Impressive selection of food, excellent and friendly service...and a great place to go with a group and share dishes. Greenville is fortunate to have the only P.F. Chang's in South Carolina.
We went to Harry & Jean's on Woodruff Rd. for Fathers Day brunch and every one of us loved our food. This would be my favorite so far, but we'll try High Cotton or The Lazy Goat next.

If only that were true. Myrtle Beach has no idea what you're talking about.

You got me!
I was at Market Common last year around this time...if P.F. Chang's was there then, I must have missed it. Maybe I was too busy chowing down at Gordon Biersch Brewery Restaurant Group, Inc.which is also in Market Common...that place was awesome and would fit in well in the Greenville scene if they'd come!
Guess it's fitting that I'd leave the "Independent Republic" out and only think about Greenville/Columbia/Charleston before posting.
Their crabmeat stuffed flounder and horseradish mashed potatoes are to die for, not to mention their garlic cheese rolls. Can't beat their early bird special either!!!!
Most postings on this thread cite restaurants that are really a night out and that's fine. If you want to rate restaurants on the quality of the food and the value for your dollar it's hard to beat the Pita House. I have been eating their falafel and chicken kabob for fifteen years and every time I think it can't get better I'm proved wrong. Their hummus puts everyone elses to shame.

Oh, and they're great people.
Couldn't agree more. Two BIG thumbs up for the Pita House.

Pita House is good, but they serve their pita cold. Plus, I always compare them to one of our favorite places in LA; Zankou Chicken:
