Thanks Skunk Workz! Do you have a recommended graphics editing app for Windows?

For quick and simple (with a nice bit of power), I'd go with Paint.NET Paint.NET - Free Software for Digital Photo Editing

If you want way more powerful, but of course more complicated, then GIMP is the way to go GIMP - The GNU Image Manipulation Program

Both are free.

For the other apps (since you're on Windows):

If you have office then Publisher or Word can handle the layout, if not then I'd look at Open Office OpenOffice.org - The Free and Open Productivity Suite

For creating PDF's I use PrimoPDF PDF Converter — #1 Free PDF Creator — PrimoPDF

They have a free version, and it installs as a printer. You just select it when printing and you get a PDF.

Wow - thanks again for your suggestions. I am going to take a look at some of these to see what works best for me.

I've mainly been just a Word and Power Point user but had been looking to try out some other programs - just for my personal use.

The Stone Ave project sounds exciting and very cool. Okay, so I still don't see anywhere (probably buried in the details somewhere) when this development will start and how long the transformation is expected. Anyone see that?
