Morning Mist. Noticed that the homes in Weatherstone are now starting at $180k and quite a few homes are going up.

I am showing a home in MM this week. Thought that was where you were. I remember when that was a Christmas tree farm. Durn, I must be old.

Didn't know it was a Christmas tree farm... I had assumed it may have been a horse ranch of some sort at one time, hence the the horse logo.

If you didn't know, the HOA is building a new playground in front of the pool area this month. Might help you close that sale!

Also, I misspoke earlier about the $180k homes. They are being built in Greythorne, not Weatherstone. (But you probably knew that).

I lived on West Georgia for most of my life and have never seen a horse farm. River Shoals used to be Spiller's Dairy. Don't know if you know it or not but just before you get the river heading towards Fork Shoals Road there was a slaughter house on the left when I was a kid. Again, a long time ago.

I remember you mentioned Spillers Dairy in one of my threads, do you know of any books, or websites showing the history of them? Since we are building in there right now I would love to find out some history on it and other places in this area.

bones, sorry I do not. Several of the family members still live across the road from the old dairy barn. They are nice country folks and would probably be glad and talk to you about it.

The problem with this neighborhood is it's too far out from everything, and there is an undesirable mobile home park across from it.

I've sold so many houses in Griffin Park by promising that trailer park was going to be a new school, it's great! Weatherstone was also another top destination till they went budget. Alas, my poor commission.
