Good Morning Everyone. I have been trying to get some of those chores done that get put off too cyn. Yesterday went thru all my spices and discarded some of the oldest of them...especially ones I don't use...like Cardamon. No need to keep a jumble of bottles of things I haven't used in over a year. (they deteriorate and some like paprika...can get bugs. eek
That is yet another task for me elston! My DH used so many spices and obviously I do not! So I have to basically toss them all. I try to put a little of this and that in my trash when I take it. We don't have trash pickup so I have to take it which doesn't bother me but I have to be careful how much I bag because I have to lift it too. I've also been working on the bathroom cupboards. Things manage to build up in there like lotions and shampoos we decide we don't like! I hate throwing things out but if they aren't getting used then it's the best thing to do!
I'm saying a prayer for my friends in Redding California! So far the fire has destroyed 7 of their close friend homes and they are not in a good place right now! I have known these people for 60 years so it really hits home for me!
Thank you for your prayers. Still waiting to hear how things are going. I got home about 9:30 and to bed by 10 but once again could not sleep. I have my friends in Redding on my mind. I feel so badly for everyone and every critter there!

Last I heard my friends home is still okay but not in a good place in Redding CA.. I just keep praying.
I went with my male friend to his grandsons 1st birthday party yesterday. They live right behind my house so it was just a short walk which made it nice. They had a ton of family there and it was nice meeting everyone and just chatting with them all. They barbecued hot dogs and hamburgers so I even ate well!! Before bed I took one of my prescription Motrin and it really made my sleep much better. I guess it's pain that is waking me up with my arms when I sleep on one side to long. It feels good to have gotten some decent sleep last night.
Work this afternoon and tonight. Church this morning!
