Thanks to all! Molly, you are so right about our critters being able to sense hoe we are feeling so I try very hard to be as happy go lucky as I can possibly be especially during our walks. But they still know i am sure. My son called and told me they are thinking of taking the kids to some kind of big Easter event tomorrow. At first I felt a bit down but then I figured they deserve to do something fun on Easter. My son told me he'd bring the kids over on Friday since he has the day off and so do the kids. The dogs will love seeing them!! So it will probably all be best and in reality I'd have to keep the day short because of the dogs but they are improving!! I don't want to mess that up! I will be pet sitting this next week for a couple of days and am looking forward to that--it's just next door and they are insisting on paying me so that will be nice!
I will join in and hope everyone enjoys their Easter and has a happy day!

I am sorry your Easter plans with your son and his family have been postponed, but it sounds like you are keeping a positive attitude about it. Well really, what else can you do?
How far away from you does your son live? I seem to remember you moved to your current location from CA. Did you do so to be closer to your son?
Just curious.

We don't do anything special for Easter. Well, my husband goes the day AFTER Easter and stocks up on chocolate when it's on sale. He has a real sweet tooth

Actually Molly we moved to NC first...my hubbies son lived here so I figured being close to him would be nice for my husband. Didn't work out that way sadly. My son moved here 2 years after I did. He lives about an hour from me. I got a late call from my son last night and they changed their plans so I will probably go to his house today for a short visit and to give the grand children their Easter baskets. Can't stay long as I have to go to my neighbors and get the pet care situation worked out. They went out yesterday and last night so now we have to do it today. I really don't like leaving the dogs for the whole day anyhow right now. Still working on getting them back on a schedule.
Everyone enjoy their Easter!!!
