The worst was a mossberg 12ga pump.
I'll date my self.
I got it from Montgomery wards in 1978.
Sold it in 1978 after hunting with it twice.
I've never owned a gun that rattled so much just carrying it let alone when it was fired..

Yea I had one of those, circa 1974. I agree - not tight at all and just felt cheap. I'll never owned another Mossberg.
I think it was a Davis in .32. Think I bought it for the ex wife because she liked the feel of it in her tiny hands. Probably the least expensive gun Ive ever owned.
Heritage .22 revolver (I think that was the make). The most inaccurate pos I've ever seen. Good for a trap line to dispatch Coons and Beavers but about it.
It's a tie between an AMT .380 backup and a Titan .25. Both were jamomatics.
Traded the AMT for a Kahr CW 45 recently, and gave the Titan to my son for sentimental value (it originally belonged to his grandmother who used it to scare off a burglar 25 years ago).

AMT .380 the absolute supreme p.o.s. I am embarrassed enough to admit owning!
I haven't owned hundreds of firearms, but I have had at least 30 different handguns and a dozen or so rifles of various calibers. None of them were bad guns. I would say my least favorite is a Glock 19 that I recently bought off of a friend. It shoots fine, and my wife likes it, but I just don't care for it. It's clean and stored away where I plan to leave it until someone offers me stupid money for it.
My Win 94 in 44mag is one of my favorites. Sorry it did not work out for you.
No big deal, I'm glad theyre not all rattle buckets. My mag tube kept coming off. Actually broke the front band screw the first time. But it worked out, its the reason I found Marlin & now I have a Marlin lever 44 now & 444 & 45/70 & 30/30 & 35 rem & 32/40 & 38/55 & 44/40 & 32/20 ect, ect, ect.

I used to have an AMT Backup .45. That was the most unpleasant to shoot, easiest to foul and most cumbersome to field strip pistol I've ever owned. It was as though it was designed to have two people take it down for cleaning.
It was pretty easy to conceal, though, and I'm pretty sure it would go bang at least once from inside a coat pocket 10 times out of 10.
