I bought two a couple of years ago when they were 99 bucks for a right and 110 for a left hand SS. They work great for me. Anyone else shoot AR with 22lr?

I love my CMMG .22 LR conversion. I got a good deal on mags a few years ago (a dozen for $70) and so I usually keep them all loaded for convenience at the shooting range. I usually start shooting .22 for a while to warm up then swap in the .223 bolt at the end to clean out the gas tube, as I have found that the .22 tends to get things pretty dirty.

Even though the accuracy isn't great, it is a great way to enjoy an AR inexpensively and with significantly less recoil and noise.

At 100 yds I was 12 inches on a B27. I did not really aim all that high. I think just at the top of the head of the silhouette.

I have a Chiappa upper for an AR, it isn't just an insert where the bolt goes, but a whole upper with a scope attached. I got it with the hopes of it's accuracy being good, but all of my Ruger 10/22's are better, my Sig 522 is better, so I probably won't use the Chiappa much. Other uppers I have for AR's: a 450 Bushmaster, and a 300 AAC Blackout. I have quite a bit of ammo for the Bushmaster, but so far finding ammo for the 300 Blackout has been a problem.
