Currently I am into collecting various vintage 22 rifles. Right now I'm on a Winchester 69/69a kick. Trying to get a couple of different variants. Pure Target model with the scope that came from the factory is the big game I'm tracking currently.
Springfield EMP 9mm to go along with the .40 S&W version that I already have
SCAR
Remington 870
Marlin lever action
Sig 1911 in .357 SIG if that ever gets released
I would like to add a couple of M1a's to my collection. I currently have a standard and a scout model. I would like to add (2) 16" rifles, another 18" and another standard rifle. I would also like to add to my 1911 pistol collection.
I like shooting at the range so I have a Sigma 9mm and a Sig P250 40sw. Also they double as defense guns.
Now where's the ammo ?? I haven't been to the range for months and I'm not paying for what they're asking now. I hope it all blow over and things get back to normal.
EDIT: forgot to add that I'd like to get a Commander 45.

Well, I now find that I need a 500 Mag again. So tn thehat is next on the list.
Hey Elk, that sure is a dandy S&W.......... what is the preferred bullet weight for your intended use?.....
I've got a S&W model 29, four inch in 44 mag that I bought about 27 years ago and sent it to Larry Kelly up in Michigan and had him Mag-Na-Port it. It still is not the most pleasant gun to shoot when loaded with some 300gr very hard cast Keith style bullets. I did carry it on my hip as a "last-ditch" back up to the 375 H&H (300 gr Nosler partitions) that I used to take that Brownie on Nov 17th
On Kodiak back in 1991.
And yes, I was advised to "file the front sight down flush with the barrel",
So it wouldn't hurt so bad when the bear shoved it up...."where the sun don't shine"
I typed this on the droid smart phone........boy what "A P I T A"....
Well I would have said nothing this time yesterday, but today,it's an AMC 44 Automag (low, low, low serial number), mint condition, with all packaging and manuals (and surprisingly low price too... I'm not saying nuthin').
I don't have a 1911 yet. That's something I'd like to get eventually, but I'm not in a big rush.
I keep thinking that I'd like to get into rifles a bit more. I have several, but I don't take them out much. It's a good 30 minute drive to the rifle range, vs less than 10 minutes to several indoor (and air conditioned) pistol ranges. I'll probably eventually get a Remington 700, but haven't decided on the caliber yet. I've got a 770 in .308 that I've never even fired. I also have a T/C Icon Classic in 30-06 that I just took out for the first time a couple weeks ago. Shoots nice, but man, I'm not used to that recoil yet!
