What is the best AR? Personally I think they are mostly the same, but lets see what others think. I like Colt only because of the name not because I feel its any better than one of my old PWAs or others I built.
The Colt name does hold a premium.

Never had a single problem with my Daniel Defense.

I have nothing to compare it to, though. It's my first and to date my only AR.

My Bushmaster did a great job. It ate everything I fed it and held a great pattern.

Personally if you get it at a good price I don't see a thing wrong with any. I would not pay the long dollar for a Ruger Sig. Not that there is anything wrong with em, but I don't see the value. Although I do have a fetish for the pony's.

Holds a premium but Colt's assembly lines are apparently staffed by UAW workers, who suck the life out of everything. There are some great companies out there that are just as good (or better) and have the same sort of cache.

The best one is the one I have on hand.

Never had a problem with my Bushmaster. From talking to my friends it seems any of the top manufacturers are good to go.

The best AR Is the one you shoot/use, and not keep in a safe or box to stare at. So that pretty much is any brand.

It depends what you want it for.

A lot of people like JP, Noveske, BCM, Lapua, and Colt.
