Do you use a curl enhancer that you like?

I'm looking for one for my short wavy hair to help with summer humidity frizz.

There's one my gf recommended but it's $30 for 6.7 oz. Seems pricey but maybe that's what a decent one costs??

I follow a woman who uses Curly Girl, it's a website and I think they have product.

Would it make my pin straight hair have curls? Waves?

There are silicone products that you can lightly apply to the surface of your hair. I do that, but I have straight hair so I also use a curling iron to flatten out the frizzies when it rains. I carry the silicone on rainy days (small bottle). Obviously you can't do that.

Today, at the grocery store, I bought some Not Your Mother's Defining Curl Talk.

Will report back on whether it does the job. Was something like $8.98--a bit less than the $30 stuff my GF likes.
