I use Pantene and it smells awesome for the next couple of days if I leave my hair alone and don't blow dry it. But when I do blow dry it, the smell goes away. Is there any type of nice hair perfume I can put on to keep my hair smelling nice and if so, where to get it?? LOL this question sounds silly!

Good-smelling shampoo that doesn't fade with heat treatment = Pureology.
It's also just an amazing product. I can't say enough good things about it.

Sephora.com has a link under Fragrances called "Hair Mists." (I believe the Hair Mist link appears on the the left side menu after you click Fragrances on the Home page.) Often Sephora shoppers write useful product reviews there as well!

I just recently tried a new product called Bioinfusion. I used the curl nourishment conditioner and the critical care deep moisture masque. This product smells so good it's even better than some of the perfumes out there. I've been stopped by people asking me what I was wearing. When I tell them it's my hair products they look at me like I don't want to share the secret with them. And it lasts for days.

A little goes a long way. Unlike shampoos & conditioners found in the drug stores, the more expensive brands usually are more concentrated requiring less product for the same effect.

Good hints!

I love Aveda's Shampure. Very gentle as a shampoo. It is quite concentrated. I wash/rinse many of my clothes in a sink in my vanity area. I do this for conservation as well as the fact that these clothing items may need refreshing but they are not what you might call dirty. So, for this I dilute Shampure as well. Even more diluted, I use it to wash my face.

I have some candles with Shampure but don't know if they were seasonal or always available.

Back to using it as a shampoo, I have bra back length hair which is color treated but not lightened. So, when I use Shampure it is really to wash my scalp and not the length of my hair. Makes the bathroom smell great as well!
