Just like the title says, need a new do! =)

My hair is just a little below shoulder length and is kind of curly in the back and wavy/straight in the front due to chemo.

The chemo makes it fall out but it does grow back and right now I am 3 months post surgery so the trauma from surgery is making my hair fall out...in almost handfuls.

This is a picture of my son and I from the other day.

Any advice would be appreciated! =)

Wait a minute.. That's you & your son?! Whoa, thought that was a bf or brother! Amazing... I don't know how you feel about chin length bobs, but for some reason that's the first thing that popped in my head... Curly in the back is good for scrunching, and if you are losing hair, a shorter 'do may help mask the length difference as the hair grows back in.. Best wishes & continued strength to you on your road to recovery!

Yep, me and my son! He is 20 and I am 40.

I was thinking something shorter as well, with the hair loss. Thank you very much!

That's cute. I have been thinking of bangs for a while but then thinking about the growing out process!

That is really a cute cut. I saw some more just a tiny bit longer with a longer bang that I am leaning towards.

Maybe an inverted bob with side swept bangs?

I didn't know you were going through chemo- I hope you have a speedy recovery!

Thank you. I do not have cancer. I have to take it weekly for my Rheumatoid Arthritis. I am guessing I will probably have to take it for the rest of my life unless they come up with something different.

The hairloss from my surgery makes me lose far more hair than the chemo ever has! =/

How about very long side-swept bangs and get a shorter clip-in fringe to change it up without having to deal with a grow-out process? Get the clip-in made of human hair in your color and not trimmed, and take it with you to your stylist and s/he can shape it to fit your face. then you have bangs whenever you want them and don't have to bother if you aren't in the mood.

I will probably due a long bang. I am not much with adding any kind of clip, though.

I do like the angled bobs, but my fiance thinks they look stupid. I may get a very slight one.
