I have salt and pepper hair - my dark brown natural color with gray mixed in.

It's not "mostly gray" - I guess i'd have to sit and figure out the percentage... It has quite a bit of mixture.

But my question is... and maybe either people who have used these colors, or stylists, can help me...

I want to color it with one of the temporary or semi-permanent bright colors - like purple, blue, bright reddish, etc. I know most of them don't cover dark colors, so i'm guessing they'll only cover all of the gray.

Anyone have experience with this? Thanks.
