What is this style called? Page boy? I love it, so sexy. It gets my attention right away.
Rarely ever see it where I live. It is not popular...why?

Yeah like a bowl. The bangs are inches straight down. Hair hangs on sides of face.
Like a European model. Old style.

Dutch Boy haircut. Buster Brown haircut. I don't find them attractive on a woman at all.

It had a brief resurgence in the early 90's, I have no idea why. Maybe because one of the supermodels of the late 80's had that style?

But the reason some associate it with sexiness (it really depends on how it's done, though), is due to a model/actress from back in the ... 30's? Who popularized it, and marketed herself as a calendar pinup of the day. I don't recall her name, but the look she popularized was with dark or black hair, with the bangs slightly curled, and the hair--shoulder-length. This became the prototype for "Veronica" in the Archie comics.

Audrey Hepburn wore her hair like that often. She could carry it off well.

A French bob? Do a google image search using the styles mentioned and see which one you're thinking of

Yes Dutch Boy but only on young women when the hair is long. On boys it looks goofy.

It looks youthful, innocent to me. Change the name.

That sounds like what OP is describing - I immediately thought of it. I personally do not care for that look, but do like bangs with long hair on the right face.
