Food Lion near our home provides some good deals on deli meats as I only buy 1/2 pound of lunchmeat at a time until our son comes home on leave for visits. Being the human garbage disposal that he is for home cooked meals, FL has what I need to keep the young man's belly happy.
LOL! Bet you don't have to worry about having too many leftovers when he's home!

Heck no and I welcome his appetite. Kinda nice to cook big meals and see the leftovers disappear! I can't believe how much he's grown in 4 years as well. Working on the C-130's, he has arms I never thought he'd have as a computer geek.

I wouldn't like the idea of on-line shopping. I prefer comparing prices on the shelf, knowing that my frozen food isn't sitting around, picking the milk with the latest expiration date, and it just seems like something for somebody who isn't physically able to shop for their own groceries.

I tend to make the trip to Food Lion most of the time but will also go to Farm Fresh a couple times a month. Food Lion tends to have the best prices after the MVP discount and the stores are plentiful enough to be the closest store to most people and not overcrowded. Farm Fresh carries a little better selection of specialty items, more seafood, and a pharmacy.

Not a big fan of grocery shopping at the larger chains like Wal-Mart or Kroger. Wal-Marts are fewer in location, huge, overcrowded, and it takes forever to check out.

I'm actually looking forward to the Target opening up in Pembroke a year or two from now and hope they carry a nice selection of groceries. Then it would actually be close enough for me to go to Target on a weekly basis.

The Walmart at Lynnhaven is expanding and their grocery/garden center should be open by October 12.
