It supposed to be a scorcher today; I was wondering where the cheapest place to buy domestic beer (bottled) was in Central Virginia Beach by way of Lynnhaven Parkway??Or is the ABC Store next to Paneras really the cheapest? Some Nearby Grocery Store?? Nearby Covenience Store? Help!!Thanks guys :0

Oh lord rofl. Food Lion grocery store is cheap for domestic beer. Any grocery store is really, but 7-11 convenience stores are okay with prices as well. VB will never dry up! :-)

My husband always buys beer at the 7-11. He says it's a pretty good price there.

Heck, even Walmart sells beer. Try there! LOL

Woops, sorry for the scare haha. I found a 6 Pack of Bud Light at Rite Aids on the corner of Lynnhaven Pawkway by Panera Bread for $4.85. Is that better or worse pricewise than 7-11 or Wally-World?? (Surely better than paying $3.25 a bottle in the bar). I just brought my own in that night.

Yea I went into the ABC Store, they don't sell beer there too? How Strange and disappointing...Used to West Virginia here, where they sell beer everywhere (Grocery Store, Gas Station, Liquor Store etc)

We don't have blue laws here or a time limit, so the only thing ABC sells is liqours and wines. Rite Aid is always a few cents cheaper. I won't pay those prices in bars, so I don't go to bars. Now, if you go to Sam's Club, you can get a case for 13-14 dollars and you won't have to buy a 6 pack so often!

Oh crap! Another country boy. I'd give the WV salute, but I don't want to offend the ladies.

For my two cents, go to Kroger's. Back where I'm from, they have the best selection/price of beer. You can get anything from Bluemoon to some micro-brew that you can't pronouce without being 2 points above the legal limit. I've been to one Kroger's here, the one off Lynnhaven, and it seems to be the same. And if I'm not mistaken, they are open 24/7. Good times...
