Hi! I have an interview in Harrisburg next Friday morning. I'll be arriving on Thursday afternoon, and will be in town through Friday evening. I don't have the job yet, so it's a bit early for serious looking, but I'd like to start now.

The visit: I'm planning to see Broad Street Market, and possibly head over to Hershey (for the chocolate) if I have a lot of time on Friday afternoon (not sure how long the interview will run, or what else may come up). I like thrift shopping, antiques, hiking, etc.

As to potentially moving, does anyone have any neighborhood suggestions?

When are you moving? Probably mid-April
Where are you coming from? St. Louis, MO
Why are you moving? Work
Where will you be working? Hale Ave.
Have you been here yet? No.

Will you buy or rent? Rent
If renting, are you looking for an apartment, a townhouse or loft? How much can you spend? Probably an apartment, though I'm flexible.
Do you prefer hi-rise or walk up?

Are you married or single? Do you have children? Single, no children.
Do you prefer public or private schools? Doesn't matter.
Do you have pets? I have a small dog (15 lbs) and a small snake who stays in an aquarium.
Do you want or need a yard? The more green space the better, but a yard isn't necessary.
Are you keeping a car? Yes.
Do you prefer bustling activity or calm and quiet? Calm and quiet, though I also don't want to be completely isolated.

What do you want to be closest to? Basic services, then work, then shopping.

Do you want to live with people of a similar age, race, religion or sexual preference or do you prefer a diverse neighborhood? I'd like some diversity, though I would like at least a few others in the 20s-30s range.

Any suggestions/ideas? I'd appreciate any advice. Thanks!
