You took a big risk. It worked out for you. That doesn't mean everyone else should take similarly big risks.

Either way, the OP very much seems to be in a "damned if I do, damned if I don't" situation... and he's already in Harrisburg, so the point is moot. Hopefully everything will fall into place for him.

Groove - congratulations on the move.
If you're still looking for work and have reliable transportation, the UPS distribution center on S. 19th st. is always looking for package handlers. The work is hard, the part-time hours are odd and the pay stinks. But, they're relatively close to the mission. And, if you can pass the background check, they'll likely hire you.
