Ahhhh 18 days to be back....

smells of the entire island-- iron trees, flowers, food, ocean, people .. Real bananas.. coconut water the jellies from Homakua coast, talking story. Walking Waa Waa

whales, whales, whales- we should show up about the same time..... fishing ... Aloha and people maybe I can move my ticket forward!!!

Warm rain. Judging the seasons by whats in bloom or whats ripe rather than the temperature. Being able to go into just about any restaurant or store in the district just in shorts. No shirt, no shoes, no problem!

LOL @ the dirty feet comment. My feet have not been clean since I moved here. It's almost impossible to keep them clean. My hubby and I were at happy hour and we were wondering if a couple next to us were tourist or locals. We looked at their feet and their shoes were nice and clean, the girl was wearing heels...unlike my red dirt stained slippahs. Yep, tourist.
