I'll be 65 next month and if I have to spend 20% for what the health care system changes you in America I will lose my house in about a year and all my savings. I don't get it?

You actually pay 20% of what medicare allows the medical providers to charge. You ca signup for a advatage plan which will even limit your cost to not mauch of anyhting;just make sure your providers except the plan.

Contact the senior health insurance program (SHIP) serving your area. They're likely in the Yellow Pages under senior and/or social services. They're state-based and free to seniors. There are many Medicare supplemental insurances out there that take care of that 20% for a fraction of the cost. The SHIP will be able to tell you what's available where you live and how to negotiate the system.

The sky really isn't falling and your house won't be in jeopardy.

Thank you, I didn't know anything about SHIP and I now have it bookmarked. It's a great place to educate myself. Thanks again.
