Many of you may be aware of this but many may not. It first came to my attention in 1992 when I was an advocate for a state on senior healthcare issues, especially Medicare related. It's something every Medicare recipient should know about.

Kinda OT but how sad is it that AL Jazeera America is kicking our butts in *American* news like this!?

Is it because they do their own reports and don't reply on the AP?

I was surprised the first few times I watched the Al Jazeera America broadcast news programs. Very in depth journalism. Watch those, and BBC for a while, and you won't want to watch the American network news again.....ABC, NBC and CBS look like amateurs.

Could they have a bias? Perhaps, but I still think they are superior to the American channels right now.

Comparing them to local newspaper outlets are nowhere near the same. Although it is nice to see those newspapers above are also still trying.
