My husband and I are moving to FL the last of Jan. How do I go about changing from KY ins to FL ins without losing coverage for ANY amount of time. My husband has a lot of medical issues and cannot go without insurance for a day. Do I call before I move or after I move? Thank you

Where is your insurance from now? A job, or from the health exchange?

You can start looking for policies now and just have the start date be the day you move or whatever. Usually policies will go until the end of the month so you have your current policy stop Jan 31st and your new policy start Feb 1.
