Downside? What downside? You mean, will it contribute to helping the drug companies richer than they already are, hence possibly causing them severe heart burn as they struggle to find even more ways to spend their wealth? That downside?
Do the drug companies want every single American in this country on some kind of medication? Oh, of course not!!
I can envision a tv comercial for this new "wonder product" "Hey Sally, you're looking perky today". "Why, yes I am mary. And you know why? I'll tell you why. Im on this new drug!" "Really Sally? So I guess it really works, huh?" "Why, yes it does! However(smiling), should you experience loss of sight, loss of appetite, loss of hair, loss of libido, or if your toes fall off, your eyes pop out, your teeth turn orange, your liver dies, your kidneys die, your pancreas explodes, or you yourself die, then stop taking the product and call your doctor immediately! Other than that, you're good ta go!!"
I agree with you 100% I resent the pharmaceutical companies using scare tactics to make the public think we NEED a drug to prevent this or that, or to deal with normal aging like menopause, ETC. ~~ but people want a magic bullet instead of educating themselves on healthy living
