Thank you for reminding me of that site. I'm not seeing what I need though. It seems like the device doesn't dial the phone number we enter; we never hear it dial out and must be missing a step along the way. The instructions we have are of no help.

I am not familiar with the device itself, but have you checked the volume settings --- volume on, not muted or turned down too low?

That maybe will have to check but it doesn't call the number we dial.
