Hey hi ! New here !!! Just wanted to write that i am suffering from ankle synovitis , and omg , it is most of the time unbearable pain . I had ankle fracture in 1999 , and ankle debribement in 2001 . For a few years , the pain was somewhat tolerable , i was taking anti-inflammatory drug , i think i`ve tried every kind in the books . Then it was painkiller . Nothing happended with that , except to make me sick . I had a bone scan last year , and the result stated : chronic pain from synovitis . So i really dont know what to do about this , makes me depressed and i had to quit a few jobs [ pipelines jobs ] . The best i could find to relieve the swelling and pain , is to put my ankle under the cold water tab in the bathtub for 10 minutes . I am unable to sleep ...
So i was wondering if anyone here has similar problem with ankle pain . I have a Doctor appointment with an orthopedic surgeon , but here in Quebec , Canada , my appointment is in 8 months from now . Unreal , but true .
So i welcome any comments or info from anyone who can help , and perhaps give me some advices . By the way , i am 53 old male in otherwise excellent shape .
