I drive a haul truck at the mines so there's a lot of being bounced around. I've had a compressed disk for years and have always been able to maintain it using an inversion table which I've just started doing within the last 5 or 6 years. I also notice a big improvement by taking Fast-Flex from GMC which is a cocktail of 5 joint supplements (forget which ones now) but have slacked off of it. It seems like its catching up to me and I may be looking for another line of work. In the meantime, can anyone recommend something to take for the discomfort? (Its not that painful yet).
Narcotics are a safe and proven method to relieve pain. What about muscle relaxers? Medical marijuana? Alcohol works in a pinch (no pun intended). Lots of drowsy, effective meds you cant easily take, huh. Sorry
McKenzie exercises often relieve pain from compressed discs and sciatica...Google "McKenzie exercises" and you'll find some videos that demo them for you...very easy to do and can bring rapid relief...
