Yeah, I just tossed out my old ones about a month ago and bought two new ones. They are much bigger and softer than the old ones. I didn't realize how flat and hard my old ones had gotten until the first night I slept on the new ones.

It is very important to have adequate support for your neck while you sleep. A bad pillow can cause untold headaches, muscle cramps and teeth grinding and clenching which is miserable. Whether or not you have arthritis in your neck doesn't matter. A good pillow can keep you from sleeping in the wrong position which puts serious tension on your vertebrae. Yes, change your pillows frequently.

I like my old pillows. I wash them at least once a year and fluff them in the the dryer once in a while with a tennis ball or dryer ball.
