I've heard several stories firsthand of women getting pregnant while on the pill, even when taking it consistently as directed. How is this possible considering the 99.9% effective rate? Are these girls just lying?
They are "accidentally on purpose" skipping the pill.....they want to get pregnant. Period.
Abortion clinics are full of Failed Pill Users.
If a woman say, has too much to drink and vomits at the end of the night, her pill will fail.
They don't make enough of a Warning of this. I certainly never knew about it until I was too old for it to matter. It's Education as always - busy doctors throw a script across and that's that.
Oh, I've heard it more times than I can count, and I call [bleep]. It's called user error or lying about it because to be honest is to basically admit they used poor judgment.
This is an observation, and not far off, but the vast majority of people I know who claim failed birth control, are part of underprivileged and disadvantaged demographics.
I've never experienced failed birth control, and I've had implant-based birth control, taken pills and both IUDs. Since I suck at taking pills at the same time everyday, I chose a more reliable option. That's exercising sound judgment.
